When deciding on how much to tip your vendors, there are so many different factors to look into! Those factors could possibly be who you want to tip, how much you have left in your wedding budget, or anything else that works for you! Even though it isn’t necessary to tip every single vendor, it definitely shows that what services they have provided did not go unnoticed. Which I’m sure is an amazing feeling to give and receive, right?!

Although there are so many different vendors that participate on people’s wedding day, a majority of them end up getting tipped along the same lines. Here are some ideas!

  • Caterers

  • Photographers/Videographers

  • Hair & Make-Up Artists

  • DJ’s

If gratuity isn’t already included within the contract, you generally would want to tip around 15-20% of the bill! Another way you could go about on tipping if there are multiple people included in the service, is by personally giving them a cash tip ranging from $50-$100.

We hope these general ideas of how much to tip your vendors was helpful enough to give you a starting point! Again, it is okay if you don’t tip! Not everyone does and even if you don’t, a warm and heartfelt, “thank you” card or written review on any platform that expresses how grateful you are for their hard work ethic can go a long way!
