Emily and Micah have been sweet friends of mine for a while now and it was blessing to be apart of their big day! From taking first look photos at the beautiful Arizona Biltmore to ending the night busting moves on the dance floor, it was a day to remember.
Emily began her special day with her bride tribe getting ready at the Arizona Biltmore. Her natural but elegant hair and makeup were done by Jessica Hamblin. Next, it was time for the girls to slip out of their silk robes and into their wedding attire! Emily wore a stunning lace trailed dress from Luv Bridal and was surrounded by her elegant looking gals in their BHLDN dresses. While the girls finished up getting ready, Micah and his groomsmen arrived at the venue in their ASOS suits. Micah wore a stylish green tux from Magro Clothing. It was time for the first look!
Emily and Micah’s first look was intimate and sentimental. As they exchanged their unique gifts to one another, Jenna Wilkes Photography was able to capture the couple perfectly. Not a moment was missed by Emily B Photography who filmed the special moments as well. From the gorgeous bouquets put together by Grace Lukas, to the polka dot shirts worn by the groomsmen, every detail was in place for the big day to commence!
The ceremony space at Sereno Park was set with boho items from Beautiful Things Rentals and the industrial arch was uniquely created by the groom himself! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, Emily and Micah had a beautiful ceremony. Once the rings were exchanged from Langert Netzband Fine Jewelers, their mentor and friend Steve Wagner pronounced them husband and wife! It was now time to celebrate the newlyweds!
The reception was held at Illuminate Community Church. As guests began to arrive, they enjoyed a variety of beverages and appetizers for cocktail hour. Friends and family from all over reunited with each other, talking and taking fun photos using the quirky props from the Phoenix Photo Booth. As the doors opened the DJ Sean from Event Smart AZ knew all the right songs to play to get the party started. Once the guests and bridal party arrived, it was time to feast on some delicious tacos from Tacos El Buen Gusto, but the DJ wasn’t going to let them get away that easy. After playing a game of musical chairs and “find me that item” it came down to the wire on which table got to eat first….ahhh the pressure!
After everyone ate some yummy tacos, it was time for the toast. Not just any toast….Raising Cane’s toast! (How fun is that?!) Everyone enjoyed this unique spin-off to the “toasts” and were now ready to dance on dance floor. There must be something in Emily and Micah’s family genes because everyone knew all the right moves! Throughout the reception, if anyone needed a pick me up, they could shimmy on over to the Mythical Coffee cart to get their energy back up. The night ended with the cutting of the cake created by their close and creative friend, Abbi Miller. And churros were also there to give everyone’s sweet tooth a fix.
All too quickly, this amazing day began to come to a close. Emily and Micah ran through a tunnel of sparklers to their getaway corvette! They drove off into their first of many nights as Mr. and Mrs. Lukas!
Congratulations Emily and Micah! Best wishes to you both, we loved being a part of your special day!
