You may have noticed in the past few months various illustrations on our Instagram feed. This summer we partnered with Savannah Gardner from @savgcreative to provide our couples beautiful artwork of themselves. Our summer intern Savannah Gardner, is the face behind these illustrations, so keep reading to find out a little more about her and her work!
MEET THE ARTIST
First things first, let me introduce myself! I am an Arizona native, avid coffee drinker, lover of all things vintage, and, big shock, study Advertising and Graphic design at Grand Canyon University. I spend most of my time drawing on my Ipad, with Netflix on in the background of course, and making memories with my family and friends. Lastly, for all my curious enneagram lovers, I am an enneagram 2w1!
ILLUSTRATIONS
Now, for the reason you are all here, let’s talk art! First off, if you don't already follow my art account, it is @savgcreative on instagram! There you can see I do a variety of illustrations, but my favorite thing to create is people. I draw inspiration from influencers I follow and recreate their photos as an illustration. What I think of as my unique selling proposition is the white outline in my illustrations of people. It is something I have stuck with all throughout the changes and improvements of my style since I first started. That’s what I love about art, everyone has a different style, something that makes their work unique to them.
