It's getting to be that time of year again- the weather is getting warmer, the flowers are blooming, outdoor weddings are in full-fledge...oh, and the interns are graduating. At Riding Tandem, we partner with Grand Canyon University to provide college students with a unique learning opportunity to earn college credit while experiencing all the ins and outs of wedding planning!
As our current interns enter into their next chapter in life, it is important for Riding Tandem to find a new team of creative, curious, and hard-working interns!
What does it look like to intern for the wonderful Riding Tandem you ask? To commit a few months of your time pouring into a company that pours right back into you? Well, let me share with you a few aspects of the job description and you can decide for yourself if you'd be a good fit!
Photography + Design
-Enjoys engaging in styled shoots and creating photo content.
-Able to edit photos to match certain moods, styles, & themes.
-Has a creative eye and is able to construct a variety of PDFs, website components, etc.
Social Media
-Feels comfortable maintaining a constant social media presence on different platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.
-Able to design a grid to match the company's theme.
-Creates captions that are catchy and appealing to the reader and properly adds tags & hashtags to contributing vendors.
Blog Formation
-Enjoys writing a variety of blog posts featuring wedding recaps, inspiration blogs, and more.
-Has an insightful mindset and actively seeks to output captivating content.
Operations
-Adaptable to an array of tasks.
-Passionate about watching weddings come to fruition and completing the tasks to prepare for moments such as a bride and groom's first look, an elegant wedding feast, and party on the dance floor.
-Able to multitask, facilitate day-of coordinating projects, and be active for up to twelve hours on wedding days.
