Color Palette Guide: Season Edition

The first step to building a wedding that best suits your personality is picking your color palette! The reason why choosing your palette firsthand is so important is because once your palette is chosen, everything follows. The florals, the suits, the bridesmaid dresses, the linens, the table centers, everything! Finding a palette that makes achieving cohesiveness throughout your entire day is important, but finding a palette that best suits you is what takes the cake. So where do you start? Keep reading to learn our best tips on finding the perfect color palette for your big day!

Before you pick your curated palette, you must pick which season you are getting married in. The time of year you plan on getting married surprisingly can have a big effect on which colors look the best for your wedding! Not only are some florals more expensive to ship during specific times of the year, but spring colors might not look the best two weeks before Christmas.

Once your wedding date is solidified, you can jump on Pinterest and start your browsing. During this step we suggest creating a new board for color palette inspiration and pinning anything and everything that jumps out to you. Once you have built your board, it will be easier to decide on which colors you really want for your big day. We suggest sticking to just 3-5 colors to keep it simple for your vendors with just enough variety. Here are our favorite color palette inspirations for all four seasons of the year!
