If you have the honor of standing alongside one of your closest friends as she marries the man of her dreams, then you also have the honor of throwing her one final spree as a non-married woman. Read along for some amazing tips and ideas to throw the best bachelorette party for your BFF and the girls.

ACTIVITIES

There are a lot of options when it comes to throwing a Bach-Bash. A good first step is to decide the basic, overarching, activity that stands as the foundation of your party. Here are a few ideas to get you started.

  • Weekend Trip - There’s nothing like a fun girl’s getaway to get the party started. For all of our Phoenix friends, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, or a beach house in Southern California, are all great destinations for a quick and easy trip.

  • Pool Day - If getting out of town isn’t as feasible, then plan a relaxing staycation and hang by the pool. Check out local resorts to see what kind of day passes they offer; Resort Pass is a great website to look into. You might even consider renting a nearby Airbnb for the night or booking an appointment at one of your favorite spas.

  • Night Out - If the Bride enjoys a night out of painting the town, then hit the best bars and clubs, get tickets for a show (concerts, comedians, something a little racier depending on the bride’s preferences, etc.) or get dressed up for a fancy dinner at a five-star restaurant.

  • Small Cruise or Charter a Yacht - If you are close to the coast or willing to make your way there, then heading out on the water is a fun and unique way to celebrate. There are various cruises that span over a weekend and offer food and entertainment for guests. You can also look into chartering a private yacht. Typically, you can rent a yacht for a few hours and enjoy a picnic dinner while watching a beautiful sunset over the sea.

THEMES

You can’t have a party without a theme, right? Our favorite themes can easily fit any bachelorette party so take your pick and let it lead you in the rest of your party planning.

  • Final Flamingle - embrace all things pink with this fun and summery vibe.

  • Desert - There are so many ways to make a desert themed your own. Add touches of cacti and pair some beautiful pink flowers and prickly pear treats for a trendy look. Don’t forget those margaritas though to really kick start the fun. This theme pairs especially well with a girl’s trip to Palm Springs!

  • Bach & Boujee - This may be the ultimate bachelorette party theme. We already know that the girls are a group of boujee baddies so let's lean into it! Gold and Rose Gold will be your best friend, as well as lots of balloons.

  • Modern Disco - Try mixing things up a bit with a modern disco. Put on your favorite jumpsuit with a fringed or fluffy coat and enjoy a night of dancing and drinking out of your festive disco ball cups. Think something along the lines of Donna and the Dynamos from Mamma Mia for inspiration.

  • Bad & Boozy - If drinking is a top priority of the night (no judgement) then “Bad & Boozy” is the theme for you! Pick any colors or decor you want, just make sure you have some type of bar for the guests. Whether it's a bubbly bar, margarita bar, or a general cocktail bar with some signature drinks, it’ll be a night you won’t forget, or possibly a night you won’t remember! To compliment your bar, you can also include personalized cups and glasses for everyone.

DECORATIONS

How you decorate will definitely depend on your theme and activities, but there are a few staples we can help you with!

  • Colors - First you should always choose your colors! If the bride has a specific color preference then you can start there, otherwise pinks, golds, and silver are ideal for all bachelorette color schemes.

  • Wall Decor - Every party needs a designated photo spot with decorations to fill the wall behind you. Some of our favorite looks include fringe foil curtains or flower foil curtains, feather boas, tassel banners, festive banners with cute sayings, and balloon arches.

  • Balloons - Speaking of balloons, they’ve really come around in the last few years and we are here for it! With so many different types and styles you can never have too many. Get a staple mylar balloon banner that reads “bride” or “love” or personalize it to your theme. Add a few giant champagne bottles and ring balloons, and then top it all off with a bunch (and I mean a bunch) of latex balloons. We love a good set of confetti filled balloons, but you can’t go wrong with metallic, pearled, and solid latex balloons. Better yet, have a mix of all of them.

  • Attire - Make a statement in all your photos by having the bride and her guests wear something personalized. Print T-shirts or swimsuits on brand with your theme, or pick up a few sashes and tiaras for everyone to have.
